2019 Workout Routine

A question I get often, and a topic I love to share more on is fitness! I am always sharing my workout classes on social media but it has been awhile since I have shared what it is that I REALLY do on a weekly basis.

I have finally learned the type of workouts that work well for my body and have been so happy to partner with TWO brands that I know you will love just as much as I do.

 

Now let’s get in to my routine—

Mornings are super important to me…this is how I shape my day. I love when I start my morning off strong because it gives me the energy and determination to keep that going throughout the rest of the day.

I really enjoy starting my morning with P.Volve. I will get up around 6:30 am and do 15-30 min of P.Volve. Since this is such a low intensity workout and really focuses on lengthening the body I LOVE doing this in the AM. I feel like it eases my body into the day and gives it an unbelievable stretch! I set a goal to do P.Volve anywhere from 5-6 days a week since it is a quick workout and can be done at home!

Another form of exercise I incorporate every single day is walking. I try to get 10,000 steps in every day (I use a fitbit to track this) to just keep myself MOVING. I work a 8-5 job that really can just be sitting all day long. It may seem like it is a lot of steps in a day but honestly it just is the mindset you create for yourself. Instead of scrolling IG on my lunch break, I go for a walk! I fond ways to build in this type of cardio in my everyday life because in all honesty it is just SO SO good for you!

Last but not least…ClassPass. This is where things get fun. Like I said, I love this app because it gives me variety! I have found my favorite classes to take and just rotate them throughout the week! My favorites are reformer pilates (a staple in my workout routine) hot yoga, kickboxing, The Works - this is local to Charleston, but it is a phenom workout! It combines hot yoga, cardio, and lean muscle toning…L O V E this one! I will take a variation of these classes about 4 times a week after work!

I am one of those people that need to get some type of exercise in my day. If I don’t I feel groggy, sluggish, and honestly just in the worst mood. Finding classes that resonate with you and going because you love it not just because you feel like you have to is the hardest part… but the most fun to trying new things out! This is why I love services like P.Volve and ClassPass. We all live crazy busy lives and are just trying to do the best we can while also getting ready for summer- hello right around the corner!
